Kristin is a licensed clinical social worker and owner of Lighthouse Clinical Services, PLLC. She studied at Aurora University where she obtained her Bachelors (BSW) and Masters of Social Work (MSW).

Kristin has knowledge and experience in behavioral health through working at Alexian Brother’s Behavioral Hospital with children through elderly adults. Kristin has also worked in a private practice setting at The Center for Therapeutic Services & Psychodiagnostics as a therapist and as clinical supervisor for all locations.

Kristin developed a love for training upcoming social workers from colleges and seasoned professionals in the field through her clinical supervision experience. Kristin has mentored many social workers and has helped them obtain their LSW and LCSW.

Kristin is eager to work with mental health professionals to further develop in their career through clinical supervision or the Mentorship program. She is passionate about helping others learn, grow, and develop into unique professionals. Kristin takes a collaborative and empathetic approach when working with her clients in therapy and believes the working relationship is so important. She is eager to work with you to accomplish your goals.

Kristin’s approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, supportive, and free flowing. Kristin enjoys working with adults regarding anxiety, depression, life transitions, career changes, family issues, relationship issues, communication skills, and more! She also enjoys doing Christian counseling with clients to further enhance the therapy process. Kristin enjoy working to empower women, strengthen their identity, process life transition, and relationship issues. She also is passionate about couples counseling and marriage counseling to help offer a safe space to process concerns in therapy. Kristin’s therapeutic approaches are mindfulness based techniques, cognitive based therapy, person centered therapy, solution focused therapy, strength based therapy, holistic therapy approaches, yoga, process therapy and more!
